ALL I CAN REMEMBER I KNOW – IN FIVE DAYS 2002
Book project, edition of 20
Produced for an exhibition in the Independent strand of the Liverpool Biennial 2002 this self published book project is the result of a self-set test to see how much, and what, could be recalled at will, over five separate days. Tapping the information into a two-column table in Microsoft Word as it occurred to me, the unedited subjects range from entire recollections of major historical events to gossip, trivia and mundane facts.
Each edition has a different drawing on the cover, also done purely from memory. These drawings include the location of the hidden safe in a Video shop I used to work in, the patterns Hound's-tooth and Paisley and Anthony Caro's ‘Early One Morning'.
